The Role

The Operational Manager is responsible and accountable for: Operations & General Management Ensuring space management, upkeep and maintenance Ensuring efficiency and consistency within the team and in delivery of services Managing the core team Managing relationships with suppliers and legal contracting of members Overseeing of invoicing, payment of bills and financial administrative tasks with our Administrative Manager Engagement & Communication Being a core part of the community (including staff, members and other associates) Be involved in and support all daily hosting activities Responding to, and acting on, member needs, concerns and aspirations Building relationships with other goups within the Network Leading communications and messaging around both internally and externally. Business Development Creating and managing partnerships which drive revenue and build profile Attraction strategy for membership & other revenue streams in coordination with the Events & Ideas Manager.


Candidate Profile

Essential A passion for social enterprise and knowledge of the sector and/or the entrepreneurial scene in Belgium Resonance with the vision and mission of the group Exceptional communication skills Effective administration skills Proven ability to effectively manage a team Natural organiser, with experience establishing and improving administrative systems and business operations Displaying self-motivation and confidence, and an ability to learn quickly and get stuck in from day one Strong knowledge in managing a community and ability to develop relationships with a broad range of people

Desirable Familiarity with social media Knowledge of a second language (French and/or Dutch)
